Hi, and welcome back.

Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a grape kale smoothie.

And this one goes out to Steve in Dallas, who challenged me to make a grape kale smoothie, because I’d never made a grape one before. I’d never even thought of putting grapes in a kale smoothie until he suggested it.

I looked around and found some ingredients combinations, and I landed on this combination:
Grapes, kale, spinach, celery, and a banana.

OKAY: Let’s get started. First thing we’re gonna do is put in these grapes. Alright. That was easy.

Second thing we’re gonna do is put in the kale. Four leaves of kale are going in here. De-stemming them, of course.

Here is some celery. Celery is notoriously fibrous, and you don’t wanna put a whole piece in there even if you have an amazing blender because it’s gonna resist blending. So, chop it up, into little pieces – ginger’s kind of the same way, too – and put it in there.

Now we’re gonna put in two cups of spinach, and a banana.

Let’s blend that up and see what happens!

I never made a smoothie with no liquid in it before…! But, ostensibly, the grapes are gonna have enough water in them to make things blend up. Let’s try it.

Alright. Let us pour this in a glass, and see what it tastes like.

Holy cow that’s good! Oh my god, that’s delicious.
